Peaches and nectarines are ripening fast. Even though we do have a little bit of hail damage, the size, quality and quantity are all excellent!
All of our peaches and nectarines are freestone.
This week we are picking Topaz and Redglobe yellow flesh, White Lady white "sub-acid" peaches and Sun Glo nectarines.
Also have blackberries, blueberries, sweet corn and tomatoes.
Should start picking Ginger Gold, Mc Intosh and possibly Honeycrisp apples by the end of this month.
Many of you have asked about honey. Right now our bees are busy making sourwood honey. We will probably pull honey from the hives the last week of July.
It then takes us at least a week to separate from comb, filter, let set for air bubbles to dissipate and then bottle.
We look forward to seeing you real soon!
